These are definitely a good go-to, durable driver with no oddities or discrepancies. They do exactly what they claim. They put out a strong frequency response that have kept up with every driver I have tried with them. No frequency abnormalities. May be advisable to use a third order x-over or better depending on your preferred high-pass. Lately I've been using them at 7500hz & higher. They can handle a little lower point, but the point is moot since I've been pairing it with other horns and drivers that can handle things just fine. I generally believe you should take your midtweeter as high as possible but usually no higher than about 10khz. Too much higher and there's not much point of any driver at all after that. A couple of times the seemed a little soft but I can't remember the exact details and other drivers used. Could have just been the room positions too.
