Fullrange speaker with a paper cone with long wooden fiber, aluminium center dome and large ferrite magnet (120 mm). 18-Liter bass-reflex loading is recommended.
FF-WK series are fullrange speaker units ideally and exclusively designed for a bassreflex enclosure. The previous FF series speaker units construction has thoroughly been re-designed on the FF-WK series. With a new addition of 10cm diameter speaker unit to the product range, new technologies such as a "double-layer" paper cone, a ridgedome shape aluminum alloy center cap and a pocket neck damper have been employed for high-quality sound. Even with these new technologies, FF-WK series inherit the previous FF series bright and realistic sound character, and achieve a powerful low sound and non-characterized high frequency sound reproduction.
It is possible to improve high frequency definition adding one Fostex T90A or FT17H connected directly in parallel mode with the FF165WK, with a high quality capacitor between 0.33 and 0.68 µF in serie on the + cable of the T90A or FT17H.
