Coils

In filters for passive audio speakers, coils are used, they are characterized by an inductance in mH, an internal resistance (ground floor) and a type (air, ribbon, iron ...). The reels of the manufacturers offer ranges of E12 values but it is often possible (especially on air reels) to unwind the reel to arrive at a precise non-standard value.

Wire section / power relation:
0.50mm² = ~ 125W
0.71mm² = ~ 150W
1.00mm² = ~ 250W
1.40mm² = ~ 350W
2.00mm² = ~ 500W
2.50mm² = ~ 625W
3.00mm² = ~ 750W
3.90mm² = ~ 975W
