Wood flat pack kit for RCF ESW1018, delivered as raw panels ready-to-mount, with foot, handles and terminal.
The kit includes panels (cut, pre-drilled and grooved), rubber foot, two handle and double Speakon terminal (Neutrik NL4MP) to assemble an ESW1018 cabinet. All you have to do is mount, and it's easy thanks to the quick-mount nipples / grooves and the detailed assembly procedure. We recommend a glued assembly (external wood glue as it is less sensitive to moisture) and screwed (follow the assembly instructions), then hold the panels with clamps during mounting. The panels are pre-drilled and grooved, the speaker location is pre-drilled to accommodate a RCF LF18G401, L18S801 or L18P300. This box produces a powerful bass at short and medium distance, it is advisable to use active filter with a robust dedicated amplification. The kit comes with support brackets for a protective grille in front of the loudspeaker, the mounting of brackets is not mandatory.

When you buy a complete loudspeaker on the standard market, you must know that the mounting and the finishing represent more than the half of the price.
Buying a enclosure flat pack reduce the price a lot because the mounting and the finish are not done. An enclosure flat pack kit costs between 3 and 5 times cheaper than a normal enclosure (mounted, predrilled and with finishing).
For the finish, if you are a good handyman you could bring a good finish level, similar as a complete loudspeaker finishedon the market, with furthermore the possibility to custom it as you want. Give free rein to your imagination, the possibilities are infinite (paint, lacquer, varnish, veneer ...).
