The MCap EVO SilverGold.Oil was developed in 2012 to specifically create the powerful and finely nuanced acoustic colors typical of SilverGold in as compact and economical a format as possible. The self-healing polypropylene capacitor film is impregnated with oil after the EVOLUTION winding process and potted by hand in special cases. Any impact on the audio signal caused by the microphone is practically excluded. Electrical and mechanical losses in the capacitor due to vibrations are thus reduced to a minimum.
