These are perhaps the best normal/shallow waveguide I have. With that extension of the throat to better work with domes, especially domes that already have a pre-existing chamfer/horn-loading built into the face-plate, I can get awesome results quite easily. The waveguide's profile is very effective. Haven't created any bad sounds with any of the combinations I've tried so far. Only caveat is you have to work with the "unique" mounting of the various configurations you try. But you already knew that.
