Great sounding 1 inch driver. Above 3 KHz it sounds like a soft dome tweeter (XT1086 horn), even at high volumes.

This is the 3rd compression driver I've tried on the SEOS 12 waveguide.

B&C DE250 - Ok at low volume but distortion rises quickly with level.
Peerless DFM2544 - Great driver at a great price. Low distortion. No glaring issues.
ND45 - Better distortion below 2khz. It'll handle a 1khz crossover better than the
Peerless. Above 2khz they're nearly even.
The sound is as clear as the DFM but it's a bit smoother at high levels. No
metallic excitement here. Very pure.

Might do a demo of the BMS 5530 or Faital HF108 next time.
