Really great sounding midrange. It's a bit larger than the standard 5.5 inch driver, so it's not replaceable with most other drivers because of the larger bolt circle diameter. The front of the frame also has a really strange shape, and it's very difficult to rear-mount or mount on a horn/waveguide. I had quite a bit of trouble sealing the driver against a waveguide. This is something really unnecessary, and that's why I'm not giving it a top score. Besides that, the sound of this driver is absolutely highest end. Incredible high sensitivity. Very airy and open sound. Voices and strings sound very palpable and real. Probably the best sounding midrange that I have ever heard. Highly recommended
