This is possibly the best compression driver there is as a direct replacement for a conventional driver without any major differences in sound quality. No special circuits required to "shape" the sound/frequency response or fix pecularities. Just pick an appropriate horn lens and maybe, probably not but maybe a small L-pad if you're using exceptionally small drivers alongside of it. I didn't have to but no guarantees. I couldn't tell a difference between it and any of the other tweeters I tried with exception to the "horn" effects which is why I use horns mostly. Sometimes it's for SPL reasons. Now if I could just figure out its biggest brother so I could use a midrange horn under it. Others are out there but too over the top and expensive.
