Well, they are quite heavy but the Sound is big deal! I bought 8 of them to replace the Ciare PM203 in 4 of KME Cluster 2082. I made them biamped with X-Over 1,8kHz 24db to the stock 1” Driver B&C DE16. I can say that the 1” driver that is also used in many good 12/1” cabs is not capable to play loud enough for 2 of these BMS 8” driver.
The quality and finish of the drivers is outstanding and they are all built exactly the same with no differences.
In that small KME cab they can play down to 60Hz with HPF 24db @ 60Hz.
I recommend parametric equalizing to tune them.
I would buy them again. -
