Every Visaton I have has been "by-the-book" and constructed solidly and consistent. So far there have been no surprises or disappointments. They have followed the music in both time and tune. These titanium cone drivers seem to grab the music and tell IT what to do. Simply amazing. I prefer to only use 4"-5" drivers to just barely "touch" the top of the bass to help keep them "associated" together. Must have good drivers there too. That leaves more energy to be applied to middle and higher frequencies. And these drivers do NOT disappoint. The titanium reveals timbres that softer cones just can't, at least not to the point that leaves you satisfied with the results like these do.

Haven't tested their lower extension yet. Have good enough speakers for that and prefer not to "overdrive" a smaller driver into a territory built for bigger, like so many others do. May cost more money for additional drivers, but worth it to be able to say "I Win"
