very nice speaker :)

Ottimo prodotto. Usato come rinforzo ( supertweeter ) per le frequenze altissime da 8000Hz in poi su un sistema hi-fi a due vie con woofer supravox da 15" e tromba Athos clone TAD TH4001 con driver Faithal HF140. Tagliato con crossover elettronico ed amplificato il sistema è ora un tre vie. Molto Contento.
E' stato il mio primo acquisto in TLHP e tutto ha funzionato benissimo. Bravi!.
Se si potesse pagare con paypal sarebbe ancora meglio ma è solo un suggerimento.

Maybe it's just me but, i think these sound better than the Fostex SuperTweeters I have. Certainly more durable. No surprises, colorations, screaming, etc.

This Supertweeter sounds as refined as, or even better than the Fostex Supertweeters. Certainly a solid, clear sound that melts into the other drivers, everytime without even trying. You can cross it a tad lower than the Fostex if needed. Although since you already have drivers that can meet these, then there is no real need to push their limits. 7500 hz w/4th order x-over is as low as I would take it. 8khz-9khz would be safer but maybe I'm paranoid. These are as clear as a bell, crystal clear. Wish I would have gotten these before the Fostex's. Probably wouldn't have gotten them. Nothing wrong with them but they do like a much higher x-over point than the Visaton. Very solid construction and responds well to 3rd & 4th order x-overs. As with any 'bullet-style" tweeter, I would not use a 2nd order x-over unless well above 10khz just to protect the tweeter for safety (of your wallet). Just some simple advice.

I use the Visaton horn together with Faital 15PR400 and Faital HF 201 with JBL 2380A horn. The Visaton match very well with the JBL horn and extend the frequency range nicely. Very airy without any aggressive sound. I use it above 8000 hz.
