Don't know what to say about this one. I never looked past the label of "pro". So I never gave it a second glance. Same with its smaller brother. Since I was having trouble with some setups requiring more SPL's from the lower frequencies, I said time to give this pro Aerogel a try. Oh boy, why didn't I try this sooner. It'll never peel paint with its lower extension but it touches it enough to let you know it's alive. But it real shines with its authority over the bass stuff. I'm guessing it's good for about 60hz-70hz to about 400hz-500hz. I was crossing it from about 150hz - 500hz. Subwoofer was handling the lowest of stuff and only sounded better one other time when I had the 10" aluminum Seas in its place. My only complaint is I wish I had gotten more of these in past. I could have saved at least a couple pennies by not buying some other stuff. And kept with Audax. Now wish they'd make a 12" pro version similar to this one.
