Reasonably straight-forward driver, especially for the money. One of only a few larger domed drivers left. Larger domes are awesome, if used the way they were intended. People seem to get distracted by the specs and claims from other drivers and how theirs can "ALSO" do what your larger dome can do. A large dome can do many things, more than I have space/time to explain. Functionally this sounds similar to a cross between Seas's 1.3" dome and that "Audax" sound. Scan-Speaks 1.5" is just a bit more detailed. The SB Acoustics/Satori 1.4", league of their own. Crossed where the driver likes, they are very easy drivers to work with and haven't found anything that didn't work with them, like those Audax horned tweeters. These in a waveguide/horn? WOW!
