Load recommendation for Visaton speakers

Band-pass load

All the shape of cabinet is imaginable and feasible. Only the net internal volume, the evacuation zone and the length of the vent are important. For small crates we propose to build a vent with an angle of 90°. Length l should be measured in the middle of the vent.
Subwoofers should be combined with an active amplifier, so adjusting the bass level and adapting to the room acoustics is simple and easy.

Bass-reflex and closed load

This table shows the volume of the cabinet (whether closed or bass-reflex) that is required for operating the Visaton woofers. In addition, the resonance frequencies are said to be closed, and in the case of bass-reflex, the surface and the length of the vent are given. Of course, the volumes given here are indicative and can be adjusted.
