Just received my pair after several hours of hesitation and wondering before concluding the purchase.
Amazing speaker!
So neat and beautifully crafted!
Didn't expect such quality from 18" speaker at that price.
The chassis casting is clean, smooth and nicely painted. The magnet is precisely cut and positioned.
The cone is beautifully crafted The surrounding is so neatly glued to the cone with machine precision. Same goes for the spider and everything else.
Even the badge and the sticker are properly positioned.
The binding terminals are the only thing that I would consider of average quality. Every other detail exceeded my expectations by far.
Sound wise I cannot comment much as I have not installed the speaker on a baffle or in a cabinet yet, but the factory measurements should be correct. The in room acoustics sounds very linear to my hearing from 300hz to 1400hz, which is quite impressive for 18" speaker. It also has a very nice timbre!
