Driver does what it was designed to do. Used as Open Baffle (OB), it works well the two different ways I have tried. Conventionally, where only it/they handle all the low frequencies via the x-over. Albeit, you'll probably need two per. Or you can use a large enough driver just above the sub in the 'full-range' section that responds close to the low response of the sub. This will give you a tighter bass similar to the smaller driver AND low extension with the traits of an OB speaker. Best of both worlds. Likely only need one OB driver/side as well.the driver itself sounds great and is easy to work with. Made solidly.
