Really good subwoofer driver for compact boxes. Thiele-Small parameters measure nearly identical to the datasheet even before breaking it in, and measured at low levels.
Build quality is very good, the suspension is beefy and quite rigid, there's plenty of excursion, but keep in mind that the dome protrudes from the front quite a lot, so you'll need some space on the front to protect it if you want to use a grill. It's better to mount it from the inside of the box.
The form factor really makes it possible to create an extra thin box, in fact the one i made is only 12cm high, allowing it to fit under the false floor of a car trunk.
I used it as a subwoofer to complement the stock sound system of a Fiat 500L, and put it in a 18L bass reflex tuned to 35Hz, giving deep bass and an adequate SPL level, driven by a 150W amplifier. For the price and size, this subwoofer is very good. -
