I did a lot of searching online for pre-made crossovers, sadly the selection is limited, and 4-ohm applications even more so. The Visaton offerings are budget friendly and quality made solutions,
and if your intended project drivers match the crossover points offered in their product lineup you should not hesitate to give them a try.
I matched a Peerless GBS-250F38CP01-04 woofer, a Peerless
GBS-85N25PR03-04 midrange and a Dayton ND25FA-4 tweeter with the Visaton HW3/130 in a custom 3-d printed enclosure, and the results were surprisingly good for a first round attempt. The availability of minus-3db taps for midrange and tweeter on the board were a helpful plus. -
